We’re heading into the new year soon, and so I’ve got about a month left to wrap up whatever the hell I’ve been doing the last year. There’s been a lot of happenings. I’ve been very busy, though it doesn’t look like it from the publishing front.
The biggest is the conclusion to the Bitch Queen book. I know I’ve got people waiting on it now, and trust me when I say it’s all written out, it’s getting close, it’s just a matter of edits. It’s a big book, the most complex book I’ve ever written. I’m juggling multiple character arcs through a single POV, etc. From a craft perspective, I’m learning so much. I’m actually pretty pleased (though also nervous) about how everything is going. I hope it’ll be worth it. Excuses, excuses, I know, but ummm…
It’ll be delayed. My apologies. I’m gonna have to ask you guys to be patient.
So uh, what’s certainly going to be happening is that the omnibus of The Agartes Epilogues, An Elegy of Heroes, is going to be out on January 16! So if you haven’t had a chance to read it yet, it’ll be something to tide you over. Yes, the complete series will be available as a single brick-sized paperback, which you can use to throw at unsuspecting burglars if you happen to not like the story. 😉 The old paperbacks with the previous covers will be retired; I’ll have them available until the end of the year.
